Bristol City Hall

Bristol City Hall

Bristol City Hall is one of the city's best-known landmarks, overlooking College Green in the heart of Bristol. Officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1956, the building is recognised for its striking curved exterior and grand interiors. Its nine event spaces range from the impressive Queen Elizabeth II Hall, accommodating up to 500 guests, to smaller rooms suited to more intimate gatherings.

A place to come together

Bristol City Hall has hosted some of the city's most important gatherings, and today its historic rooms welcome both business events and private celebrations. The Council Chamber retains its original civic design, while the smaller meeting rooms provide a more personal setting for discussions and smaller gatherings.

Food and drink are an important part of what we do at City Hall. Our chefs create seasonal menus to suit each occasion, whether that's freshly prepared pastries for a morning meeting, canapés and cocktails for a reception or a carefully crafted dinner. Quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation are at the heart of every menu, with dietary requirements considered throughout the planning process.

Our team works closely with organisers to make sure the food and service feel right for their event, bringing a personal approach to hospitality in one of Bristol's most recognisable buildings.

Our team brings great food and thoughtful hospitality to every event at Bristol City Hall, from business meetings to weddings and larger celebrations. Explore our Host Bristol website to discover more about the venue, browse our menus and find out how we can help bring your event together.
