Hyde Park
One of London's finest historic landscapes, covering 142 hectares (350 acres).
There is something for everyone in Hyde Park. With over 4,000 trees, a lake, a meadow and horse riding, it is easy to forget you're in the middle of London.
Queen Caroline, wife of George II, had extensive renovations carried out and in the 1730's had The Serpentine, a lake of some 11.34 hectares, created.

Lido Café Bar
The Serpentine Lido continues to be a place for people and pleasure and that is what the Lido Café is all about. It offers a menu with something for everyone, especially those favourites best enjoyed by us all in sunny, waterside locations.
- Three mushroom gnocchi with parmesan cream sauce
- Fish and chips
- Chocolate fudge cake
From the bar, cold still and sparkling wines, beers, ciders, cocktails, fresh lemonade and juices.
The Lido Café Bar has been selected by Time Out Magazine as one of the top London park cafés 2012.
