Hyde Park

One of London’s finest historic landscapes, covering 142 hectares (350 acres).

There is something for everyone in Hyde Park. With over 4,000 trees, a lake, a meadow and horse riding, it is easy to forget you’re in the middle of London.

Queen Caroline, wife of George II, had extensive renovations carried out and in the 1730’s had The Serpentine, a lake of some 11.34 hectares, created.

Lido Lido

The Serpentine Lido continues to be a place for people and pleasure and that is what the Lido Café is all about.  It offers a menu with something for everyone, especially those favourites best enjoyed by us all in sunny, waterside locations.

We have calamari with a rich aioli dip and gorgeous seasonal salad with fresh articulate dressing, crispy pizzette lightly topped with seasonal robustly flavoured ingredients suited to all tastes.  Ice cream sundaes of homemade gelato and fruity sorbets with tempting additions. Cold still and sparkling wines, beers, ciders, popular summer long drinks and cocktails, fresh lemonade and juices and Pimms.

We are open daily, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, from 8am and closing times as follows:
January 4pm - February 4pm - March 5pm
April 6pm - May 7.30pm - June 8pm
